Coffee and Beef?

Hey There!

Our Newsletter is short and sweet this week because I'm in charge of moving the heifers to fresh pasture today! I'm anticipating it will take a while because it's cold and raining so it's going to take some persuasion to convince them to come out of the trees where they've taken up shelter (even though the new spot will be better for them).

But, hey, I can relate to that. It's not always easy going from something you know to something better. Sometimes the gumption is lacking!

Which goes right along with the recipe I want to share with ya'll today.

If you've been following us for a while you probably know last year (about this time) we were blessed with a new addition to our family. Our daughter came into the world a bit earlier than she should have and after a NICU stay has been doing great, but continuing to rock our world (in the best way of course) every day. This kid just doesn't sleep. Our oldest daughter has always been a great sleeper so I just wasn't prepared!

So, anyways, I drink a lot of coffee now.

I wasn't much of a coffee drinker before so I ended up putting way too much sweetener in it and that just doesn't align with my personal clean eating goals so last week I finally made the leap to cut the sugar and add bone broth to my coffee and I love it way more than I thought I would. (Recipe Below)

So I guess I'm saying try the thing you've been putting off, whatever that may be, that's going to improve your life. You'll probably be glad you did!

You can check out the super simple bone broth recipe we shared last week on our beef blog.
